We are now holding interviews for English teachers to teach high school students at our public high school in Ningbo, eastern China. Teachers will focus on English listening and speaking courses for Grade 10 and Grade 11 students, while also supporting students with English reading and academic writing. Lessons would be designed to foster a positive English-learning environment and provide students with more opportunities to improve their spoken English, confidence, and communication skills. Teachers are encouraged to use a variety of teaching methods and classroom activities to keep lessons active and engaging. Teachers will also work with the local Chinese
English teachers to support students’ progress.

All new teachers will receive training and support on arrival and will be introduced to the school, teaching expectations and daily working arrangements. Teachers will also take part in school activities, staff meetings, enrollment activities and trial lessons when required.

Classes are held during regular school hours. The current schedule is 16 classes per week, but this may be adjusted according to school arrangements. Teachers will work up to 40 hours per week, with no more than 20 classes per week.
