We are now holding interviews for qualified English teachers to teach at our kindergartens in the vibrant city of Qingdao in China. Our students are aged from 2 to 6 years old and we warmly welcome teachers who thrive on inspiring young English learners to join our creative team.
At our kindergarten, we believe that every child is unique and has the potential to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. Our goal is to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. We strive to provide our students with a solid foundation in education and life skills, while also fostering their creativity, curiosity, and love of learning.
We pride ourselves on offering the highest educational standards. Our classes encourage children to explore, participate and cooperate in a caring and supportive kindergarten. Teachers will be teaching a maximum of 25 hours per week and participate in student’s activities for most of the day. Class size ranges from 20 to 30 students and you will make use of a variety of engaging teaching materials and methods including group work, music, activities, performances, art projects and much more. Communicating with parents to provide feedback periodically will also be one of the responsibilities.

Teach English in Qingdao
Qingdao, a picturesque coastal city in Shandong province in the north of China, is renowned for its unique blend of eastern and western influences, owing to its historical past. The city’s well-preserved European-style buildings and charming old streets, alongside modern skyscrapers and advanced infrastructure, make it a fascinating place to explore and live.
You will find Qingdao particularly inviting due to its diverse range of activities and high quality of life. The city is famous for its pristine beaches, such as those along the scenic coastline of Laoshan Mountain, offering numerous recreational opportunities. Qingdao is also home to the internationally acclaimed Tsingtao Brewery, where visitors can enjoy tours and tastings. Additionally, the city hosts the annual Qingdao International Beer Festival, one of Asia’s largest beer festivals, attracting tourists and expats alike. Main Responsibilities
-Maximum of 25 teaching hours per week with weekends off
-Maximum of 40 working hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm)
-Student age: 2 to 6
-Class size: 20 to 30 students
-Deliver an age-appropriate English language curriculum for kindergarten-aged children
-Incorporate creative and interactive teaching strategies to engage children in the learning process
-Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
-Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure that the English language program aligns with the school’s overall educational goals
-Attend meetings and training sessions as required
-Ensure that all teaching materials and resources are up-to-date, organized, and accessible
Compensation
-Excellent monthly salary: 18,000 to 23,000 RMB depending on qualifications and experience
-Up to 10,000 RMB reimbursement on arrival on flight and visa documentation
-Pre-paid flight to China for candidates who graduated from university in 2021-2023, on condition that applicants pay 200 USD
-4 days of free hotel on arrival
-Support with finding an apartment to rent
-11 Chinese public holidays + 1 month winter (half pay) & 2 months summer (no pay) vacation
-Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided
-Medical and accident insurance provided
-Contract renewal bonus: 5,000 RMB
-Airport pickup
-Pre-training provided: orientation, Chinese culture, Mandarin class, teaching methodology
-On-going training and academic support

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree
-TEFL / CELTA / teaching license certificate (No TEFL? We recommend INTESOL)
-Previous teaching experience with kindergarten students
-Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland & South Africa
-Good knowledge of young learner educational theory preferred
-Cultural sensitivity, awareness, and willingness to explore other cultures
