We are seeking a dedicated and innovative primary, middle and high school English teachers to join our dynamic educational team in Guangzhou, China. As an English teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment for our students, helping them to develop strong literacy skills, a love for reading, and effective communication abilities. Your role will involve teaching a comprehensive English curriculum that covers grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and critical thinking.
In this position, you will employ a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning preferences and needs. This includes interactive lessons, group projects, multimedia presentations, and hands-on activities. Emphasis will be placed on developing students’ analytical skills, creativity, and ability to express themselves confidently in both written and spoken English. Incorporating technology and real-world applications into your teaching will be essential to making learning relevant and engaging for your students.
Our students are at a critical stage in their educational journey, and your guidance will be crucial in helping them build a solid foundation in English. You will have the opportunity to foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and encouraged to participate actively in their learning. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and tailoring instruction to meet individual needs are key components of this role.
We provide training, the necessary textbooks and teaching curriculum for our teachers so they can focus on teaching students written and oral English. Our schools are committed to engaging learners into an English environment with foreign teachers while developing the students’ accent and stimulating their interest in learning. Our system and class activities provide efficient ways to help students remember vocabulary and sentence patterns and develop their communication skills and confidence with expressing themselves in English confidently and clearly.
Guangzhou – The City
Guangzhou, the third-largest city in China, offers a dynamic and cosmopolitan environment with a unique blend of traditional Chinese culture and modern urban living. Known for its bustling economy and rich history, Guangzhou provides an exciting backdrop for educators. The city boasts excellent public transportation, a variety of international dining options, and numerous cultural and recreational activities. As a teacher in Guangzhou, you will have the chance to explore its famous landmarks, vibrant arts scene, and beautiful natural surroundings.
Foshan – The City
Foshan is located in the northern part of the Pearl River, 20 kilometers from Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Foshan is a vital part of an active economic zone comprising of Guangzhou in the east, and Hong Kong and Macau in the south. The transportation system of Foshan is well designed to facilitate traveling into or out of the city. Foshan has a long history dating back to approximately 5,000 years. It gained its name from the three Buddha statues unearthed in this area in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Foshan has a reputation as the home of Chinese ceramic arts, Cantonese operas and martial arts.
Main Responsibilities
-Monday to Friday work schedule (evenings and weekends off)
-Class size: 30 to 40 students
-Student age: 13 – 18 years
-Syllabus & teaching materials provided by the school
-Teach students fluency in oral and written English
Compensation
-Excellent monthly salary: 20,000 to 35,000 RMB (2,800 to 4,800 USD) per month
-5,000 RMB flight reimbursement paid at the end of the contract
-Hotel reimbursement on arrival
-Free airport pickup and settle-down service

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree
-TEFL certificate (No TEFL? – We recommend INTESOL)
-Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa
-Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required as training provided
-Professional, adaptable and culturally aware
-Fluency in oral and written English
-Patient, creative and passionate in teaching
