ESL Jobs in Shenzhen
We are now holding interviews for professional ESL teachers to teach at our well established private school based in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen. As a first-class international childhood education provider, we constantly endeavor to maintain high qualities and standards. Our students are aged from 3 to 16 years old, with the majority aged 5 to 10. We have a maximum class size of 10 students per class.
We are a well-known English education company focused on young learners in China. We were founded in the UK in 2007, with our headquarters in Shenzhen, China. We dedicate ourselves to ESL teaching, overseas study and other international education programs.
Our curriculum is made up of materials from Pearson and other sources and we pride ourselves in delivering comprehensive course material. Our implementation of engaging teaching materials and easy-to-adopt lesson plans that ensure classes are fun, interesting and productive. We are also committed to helping the children cultivate fine practices in the aspects of general living, learning, culture and reasoning. Our careful guidance facilitates students’ development in physical and mental health, the potential to love, and the passion for knowledge. The ultimate goal is for them to become international talents in the future who can contribute to the rapid advancement of the society.
Teach English in Shenzhen
Shenzhen is located in the southern portion of the Guangdong Province, on the eastern shore of the Pearl River Delta. Neighboring the Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong (located just south of Shenzhen), Shenzhen’s location gives it a geographical advantage for economic development. In 1980, the first Special Economic Zone of China was built in Shenzhen. From then on, Shenzhen become a highlighted city of China, one known for its rapid economic growth.
Shenzhen is considered as one of the richest cities in the country which offers foreigners a great insight into contemporary China. From a small fishing village 30 years ago, Shenzhen has turned into a city filled with dynamic energy and on its way to becoming a world-class metropolis. Shenzhen is also known for its famous architecture, bars, restaurants, art scenes and shopping areas.
Main Responsibilities
-Average of 12 to 15 teaching hours per week
-Maximum of 40 working hours per week (usually less)
-Student ages: 3 to 16 year olds
-Work schedule: weekday (3pm – 9pm) and weekend (9am – 6pm or 1pm – 9pm) with 2 days off in weekdays
-Deliver learner centered, engaging lessons to students
-Ensure equal participation of all students
-Actively participate in professional development workshops and activities
-Attend school activities, parties and other events
-Systematic teaching material and easy to adopt lesson plans that ensure classes are fun, interesting and productive
Compensation
-Excellent base salary: 13,500 – 16,000 RMB per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
-TEFL certification reimbursed if required (after 6, 12 and 18 months)
-Free accommodation provided for the first 3 months
-Airport pick up
-Airfare allowance and visa reimbursement on contract completion: up to 10,000 RMB
-Monthly performance bonus provided
-Contract completion bonus: 5,000 RMB
-Contract renewal bonus: 5,000 RMB
-11 national holidays plus 1 day paid leave for Christmas (5 additional paid holidays with the second year contract)
-Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided

Requirements
-Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland
-Bachelor’s degree
-120 hour TEFL certificate required (can be acquired after the interview and sponsored for successful candidates)
-No previous teaching experience required as full training provided
-Clean criminal record
-Professional, positive and culturally aware
