With class sizes between 6 to 12 students, our teachers and young learners have more opportunity to interact with one another and receive a more personalized education. We currently have six schools. Teachers will be delivering English classes to primary & kindergarten teachers aged between 3 to 12 years old. The maximum teaching hours per week is 22 hours so you will have plenty of time to explore our beautiful city and experience the culture and diversity that China offers. Taizhou is a newly developing city so the cost of living is very cheap compared to the bigger cities.
Teach English in Taizhou
Taizhou is a young coastal city. It is located in Southern Zhejiang, south of the Shanghai Economic Zone. It has a total population of 5,694,000. Under the jurisdiction of Taizhou City are three districts (Jiaojiang, Huangyan, and Luqiao), three county-level cities (Wenling, Yuhuan and Linhai), and three counties (Sanmen, Tiantai and Xianju). Taizhou is an important base for the manufacturing industry of Zhejiang Province. It is also one of Zhejiang’s major grain-producing areas and one of China’s major fishing areas. It is also famous for its fruit, especially Huangyan Miju oranges, and its developing pharmaceutical industry.
Taizhou’s scenic, mountainous landscape is scattered with Buddhist temples. Tiantai Mountain in Tiantai County (Eastern Taizhou) is most famous as the birthplace of one of the most popular sects of Buddhism and as the hometown of the Living Buddha Ji Gong. Linhai City is also known as the home of the Great Wall of South China. It was built in Qing Dynasty to defend against Japanese pirate raids. The East Lake is also a beautiful spot to visit there. Taizhou has been classified by the China National Tourism Administration as a prime tourist area for the past 10 years.
Taizhou is a newly developing city so the cost of living is very cheap compared to the bigger cities. Taizhou has an extensive range of local delicacies and western food on offer at the numerous restaurants, cafes, departments stores etc. Shopping and nightlife are also high on the list of most foreigners in town and Taizhou can cater for all types of social activities.

-Monthly salary: 11,000 to 16,000 RMB (based on experience and qualification)
