The Job
Our high school in the beautiful city of Qingdao is currently holding interviews for English teachers who are professional, organized, optimistic and open-minded. Our school currently has over 700 students aged between 7 to 18 years old, from primary to high school. We have a team of over 120 local teachers and 8 foreign teachers who are dedicated in providing the best possible quality of education to our students. Our school was founded in 2002 and is widely known for its successful placement of local high school graduates to some of the most prestigious universities overseas. Another highly recognized program of the school is its Sino-American High School Dual Diploma Program where graduates can earn credits from both local and American high schools.
We believe that in order to provide the best quality of education to our young learners is to invest greatly in our educators. We respect our teachers’ individual teaching philosophy and we allow them to be creative in their teaching. Aside from the curriculum that the school will provide, teachers are encouraged to choose their own resources. We also aim to instill both the traditional Chinese education and western teaching philosophies to our young learners.
In addition to their local curriculum and textbooks, we also use course materials such as McGraw-Hill Treasures series Contemporary English series and Interchange series which are also used in American schools. Students also use the Connect series from Cambridge and a series of composition books for high school students to develop their writing skills.
We have plenty of available teaching resources such as smart boards, flash cards, computers and any relevant resources that the teachers may need may be purchased by the school upon request. Teachers will receive training and ongoing support from the principal.
