English teaching jobs in China with Disney English offer a unique and exciting experience that will stay with you forever. Courses are delivered using communicative teaching methods aimed at inspiring young learners aged 2 to 12 years old with fun and meaningful lessons. Songs, drama, role plays and storytelling, all centered around popular Disney characters, with small class sizes allow for engaging and effective lessons that are a real joy to teach.
Requirements
To apply for English teaching jobs in China with Disney English you must meet the criteria outlined below:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Teaching experience: 2 years for Beijing, Tianjin and Chongqing, 18 months for other cities
- All nationalities welcome to apply – we require English language fluency including but not limited to: proper grammar, sentence structure, word tense, clear pronunciation and good intonation
- Ability to command the attention of large groups of children in an engaging manner
- Creative and energetic personality, talents in art, music & performing arts preferred
- Commitment to a minimum 12 month contract
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds as required
Note:
- Non native English speakers are welcome to apply but will be expected to undergo an English language assessment
- TEFL / TESOL certificate is preferred but not required as all new recruits undergo a Disney English online TEFL course and one week training session on arrival
