-Wide range of young learners’ library collection
Our school is now recruiting responsible, disciplined and professional English teachers who are willing to provide a highly engaging and unique learning experience to young learners aged 3 to 12 years old. Our school was established in 2006 in Shanghai, China. We have since grown into a highly reputable young learners’ English learning institution. We have 3 language centers in Shanghai and another one in Beijing. If you are passionate in teaching young learners and are willing to make a difference in the lives of the future generation, we would like to talk to you.
Our programs strongly focus on supplemental and after-school English enrichment and we reach out to young learners from kindergarten to primary school. We use uniquely designed North American children’s literacy-based curriculum and course materials. It is our objective to improve our students’ English skills while introducing them the western culture and way of living. All our learning centers are equipped with an English library that consists of over 12,500 English books for young learners. Our English library operates through a membership program and is accessible to both our students and the general public as well. Our libraries are committed to promote reading as an enjoyable and lifelong habit and as an English language learning tool for children. We keep our classes to small class sizes with maximum of 8 students. This way, foreign teachers will have more time to engage with the students and cater to their individual needs. A local teaching assistant is available to assist in classroom management
Shanghai – The City
Known as the ‘Pearl of the Orient’, Shanghai is truly an international metropolis in every sense of the word. The most vibrant and progressive city in China, Shanghai is the economic and cultural center, blending an incredible mix of Eastern and Western culture. On one side of the mighty Yangtze River flowing through Shanghai is the Pu Dong district, rural farm land just 20 years ago; it is now the financial and commercial hub with skyscrapers stretching ever higher. Along the western bank of the river, the iconic Bund is a reminder of Shanghai’s colonial past featuring grand European architecture.
For those who like to shop, party and eat, Shanghai has all you could possibly want and more. But despite its cosmopolitan reputation, pockets of quaint tradition remain alive and well, dotted throughout the city. Explore countless old markets, back streets crammed with local eateries and discover incense filled temples still central to the locals’ daily life.
