These are schools that share a common philosophy – a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that we believe is important for our students.

We are now holding interviews for state qualified English Language & Literature, Economics, History, Social Studies, Science and Math teachers as well as Librarians and Counselors to join our team. You will be teaching a rich International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) program to students aged from 15 to 18 years old. Classes are 90 minutes in length and class sizes are capped at a maximum of 20 students per class. You will have a Teaching Assistant in the classroom to assist with classroom management and translation when needed. Classes run from Monday to Friday with weekends off.

The instruction at our school is engaging, innovative, student-centered, and inquiry based. Our staff need to demonstrate their enthusiasm for and knowledge of the subject matter, fostering creativity and confidence in a supportive and challenging environment so that each student can make meaningful connections across the curriculum.

The curriculum is in alignment with our Michigan partner International Academy state. Adjustments will be made to reflect local needs and our student’s Chinese heritage. Our staff embrace a rigorous curriculum with a central philosophy of making interdisciplinary and global connections while encouraging individual initiatives and multiple perspectives.
