The INTESOL courses were first developed in 1993 by Lynda Hazelwood (CertEd BPhil TEFL) with the purpose of providing quality training for anyone looking to begin teaching English as a foreign language. Lynda has been teaching English since 1971, during which time she has been employed by the British Council and worked as a qualified examiner for University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate.
