Description

The Job
We are now recruiting energetic passionate English language teachers. Our high academic standards and enjoyable learning environment have established us as the number one language school in Fuzhou. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in an established school with exceptional resources and a supportive teaching team.

Established in 2002, York School of Foreign Languages has continued to expand and shape English education in Fuzhou. With a strong emphasis on quality education, we continue to help teach young learners gain valuable skills to help them both in and out of the classroom.

We offer courses to students from 4-16 years old. We are constantly developing and refining our curriculum, to tailor it to the specific needs of Chinese learners. We will never resort to ‘cramming’. Learning a language is not an overnight process and cramming vocabulary is no substitute for authentic use of language. This approach has helped us to grow, and at the moment we have five branches in Fuzhou's city center and over 50 full-time native English speaking teachers.

The capital city, Fuzhou, is equidistant from both Shanghai and Hong Kong, making it a pivotal point in many large Chinese businesses. Fuzhou is warm all year round.
